Directed by Marcus Nispel, this movie (which would be more aptly named Gron-an the Barbarian) is terrible, terrible, terrible. Was it Conan who so famously said, “I’ll be back!” No? Well, he’s back regardless. And, no, we don’t know why either. Possibly better than Red Sonja or King Kull — but let’s face it, that’s scarcely a major breakthrough. Next time, get a director with a personality and actually read the source stories.
